See the car in person before committing. Compare its identity and records, review the official MOT history and ask about faults and outstanding finance. Consider an independent inspection and a suitable vehicle history check.
Keep payment under your control.
Be cautious of pressure to pay a deposit, shipping stories or requests to pay a third party. AutoZer does not provide escrow, hold vehicle funds or offer payment protection. Sellers should verify receipt with their own bank before handing over a car or keys.
Plan viewings thoughtfully.
Choose an appropriate place, tell someone your plans and confirm insurance before any test drive. Protect personal documents and do not share account passwords or verification codes.
Report concerns.
Signed-in users can report an advert from its detail page. You can also contact support. Moderation does not mean a seller or vehicle has been verified. If you believe a crime has occurred, contact the appropriate authorities.
